2020 AEMC Cancellation

It is with great sadness the AEMA Board decided on June 3, 2020 to cancel the AEMA 2020 Conference. The decision to cancel was not easy and we have debated about it for the past few months. In the end, we felt that the cancellation was necessary due to travel restrictions, budget concerns, and an unforeseeable future. We know this will come as a disappointment, not only to our attendees but to our exhibitors as well. This was not a decision we made lightly but your safety is our first priority.

We plan to come back stronger than ever in the future. While we cannot meet this year, we do encourage you to support the association by renewing your membership dues. The association must continue to pay taxes, insurance, and other fees that support our website and registration software. Your support is invaluable and helps us support our mission. You can find the membership form here.

In place of our conference, we are looking into fundraisers, virtual meetings, and other options for us to stay connected and to keep you informed on events that have occurred within the association in the past year. This is an election year and we are currently looking into a virtual voting option. Please look for more information from us in the near future. Take care of yourselves. We’ll continue to keep you updated on new information and events. We look forward to seeing you all soon.

Respectfully,

The AEMA Board
